Erythritol is a naturally occurring product obtained by fermentation of corn. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol found in small amounts in many fruits and vegetables. Its taste is similar to that of white sugar. It has no calories and no glycemic index because it is metabolized differently than sugar in the human body. This means that our erythritol has no effect on blood sugar levels and is therefore also suitable for diabetics.
