Information
Diuretic effect - the compound terpineol-4-ol contained in the oil stimulates the kidneys to filter more fluids and increases urine output.
Detoxifying effect (aromatherapy) - inhalation of the oil molecules stimulates the lymphatic system, which helps the body to cleanse itself of waste products, helps to clear the respiratory tract and purifies the air, reducing microbes and toxins in it.
Relieves muscle and joint pain - the oil contains alpha-pinene, which successfully suppresses inflammation and relieves stiffness when applied topically, making it effective for muscle and joint discomfort (helps to relieve conditions such as arthritis, rheumatism and muscle fever).
Antimicrobial effect (topical application) - the oil inhibits the growth of microbes, as it is rich in alpha-pinene - a compound that disrupts the integrity of bacterial cells, showing strong activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
