Manna honey - rare and valuable - dark in color, with medium sweetness, specific aroma and thick consistency. From the centuries-old oak and pine forests on the territory of Strandzha, Stara Planina, Rhodope Mountains and Sredna Gora. Manna honey is obtained from the sweet colorless sap "manna" (honeydew) on coniferous and deciduous trees. The time during which the bees collect the manna is about two months and starts from mid-summer, when there is no longer so much nectar.
